Raj Jawa was born on August 6th, 1986. After just a few years in Los Angeles, his family moved to Santa Clarita, California where Raj pursued his youth education. During his off-hours, he played around with the neighborhood kids doing what kids do best. He and his friends would also, often times, work to produce small mock news casts and talk shows. These were, of course, crude, poorly executed, and juvenile but it is believed that they set the stage for Raj's future interest in film although it would not be realized until much later. As the years went on, he and his old neighborhood friends became distant and Raj's media production interests and actions had decreased. In 2005, he graduated from Saugus High School. His applications to California State University Northridge and California State University Channel Islands were both accepted for the following semester, however, Raj opted to attend his local community college, College of the Canyons, as he was unsure as to what career path he wished to pursue and thought taking time there would allow him to realize his future plans. He begun his general education studies immediately following his high school graduation.

Raj's interest in film production was in somewhat of a hiatus for quite a while until, upon entering College of the Canyons, some old high school acquaintances, Marc Pipitone and Patrick Wade, had become closer to him. The pair co-founded the amateur film group Cram It Productions and, with them, a fire was rekindled in Raj and this time it would not die out. Together the group worked on projects that would get laughs from anyone and everyone who had seen the works. Raj, while heavily invested in Cram It Productions, still sought to pursue his own ideas and had a desire to do more serious pieces. He began, in Fall of 2007, to take film classes at College of the Canyons under the school's Radio, Television, and Film Department (now Media Entertainment Arts Department); instructors at the college inspired Raj to be a better, more rounded filmmaker. In 2008, Raj Jawa earned an Associate in Arts Degree in Film and Television Production with High Honors from College of the Canyons. Immediately following, Raj applied and was accepted at California State University Northridge and he is currently and actively pursuing their Cinema Television Arts Program. He is slated to complete his undergraduate studies by 2011.

In 2009, Raj, in keeping with his extradorianry academic performance, was invited to join the California State Univeristy Northridge chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success. He is currently a provisional member of the society working on his requirements for induction.
